It was one of the last days of the passing autumn. The early dawn brought the night and along with it came the moon, colored crimson red like a warm, beating heart – a heart which soon would cease to beat. It was time to kill...

Concept – The concept of ‘Red Moon' was driven by my will to recreate an act of violence as something romantic, no matter how twisted this might seem. The weapon was an important part of the whole picture. It's fast and deadly in the hands of one who knows how to handle it. The contradiction is in the fact that the murderer is a beautiful, lustful and playful woman. It's the last possible way to imagine death, and the last thing you would want to see before you leave this world. It's the perfect cover for assassination and easy elimination of the target. Death caused just by a look.

Sketches – A good sketch and idea always guarantees a good end result. I open Photoshop and I begin. I start to make strokes without a certain order until the overall form starts to appear on the white screen.

Blocking – After a lot of sketches I choose the ones which will come to be useful. I clean up the image and accentuate the lines and shapes in key places. After this, I start with the most important and pleasing part – coloring...
