As my research about Bathory keep progressing I found the mistake I did in my first wip post. Misinformed, I took wrong portrait to present the legend. However, the portrait by Agnolo Bronzino is much closer to the most recent movie interpretation with Anna Friel directed by Juraj Jakubisko. I should open my History Of Art book more often :) |
