Notes: Final Small render... took just a bit of the shine out of his jaw and white belly.

Title: Almost Done
Notes: Almost done..... changed the drops on the leaves and added a few dribbles on the leaves. Also played with a bit of DOF... and made some changes to the metal as well.

Going to step away from him for a few days and get some other work done then come back to him after wiht fresh eyes.

Title: More Playing
Notes: Played more with the spec maps on the stems and frog as well tried to make some more rain using a combo of Maya renders and PS. Added some rain drops on the leaves. I also need to add some more as well as drops collecting on the ends of the leaves.

Notes: Small update.. started to add some rain.. (I stress tring to add... learning on the go with dynamics heheh)

Once I get the rain looking the way I wont i'll go and add a more wet look to the frog, stems and leaves, as well as some cool water dribbles and drops.

Notes: More playing around..... started to tweak the metal plastic mech parts (still needs more work)... played with the lighting a lot more as well...

Going to try and add rain and nice drops on the plants, should help making the composition a bit more dramatic.

Title: MechTexturing
Notes: First idea for the textured mech parts.. Wanted to keep a simple feel.. but have a futuristic feel kinda like the robots being developed in Japan which I find pretty cool... I still need to add some textures to the goggles because there not the same material as the mech part.

Will start on the enviroment this week and that should help out even more.

Title: Toes
Notes: Made the tips of his toes a bit transparent. The reference I have of the frogs, there toes are just a bit see through with a real wet look. So i'll be doing a good spec map for that. Also plan on adds somr more skin toes and some dead flesh onthe part wher hes is joined to the mech.

Notes: Layed out the UV's for Kermit's real body hehehehe... Started the textures just base color right now to make sure I have all the seems matching up nice and clean. Will start the layering, building up of color and detail tomorrow.

Notes: Well from what I see in the mechanical-flesh challenge so far is everyone for the most part is doing a cyborg type character. So im playing around with a idea of using a small animal as a spy tool. First animal I've been playing around with is a tree frog.
