I did not have the chance to read the book, which was really unfortunate. I had school for most of the time, and could not afford the time. So I had to take one of the chapters provided by the "inspiration" -section of the contest. But I think this piece is quite close to what I felt when I read the description.

I imagined something of "Exploring of the 5th chamber" and what it might have been like to walk through one of those valleys.]]>

I had lot of troubles developing my eon entry since i had many commisions and homework, and had problems with files of my previus development, and I post wrong final image, I couldnt take the proper time for the development. I take time to made it at the last moment, now I am very tired and sleepy after expend a lot of time nonstop on painter and photoshop.

Thanks to all CG Society members for the C&C and suport, and obiuslly for those who made the challenge possible. Also Tnx to my friends who help me when mi computer got screwed.

Wish you all good luck with the judges, for me, at this point all I can say is I learned a lot during this challenge, more than I expected, and for sure I will enter the next one.

As the attempts Patricia made to grapple with the reality of Axis Nader, the Stone and the improbable physics, I grappled with a subject material unfamiliar and at times just as incomprehensible.

I have striven to take a viewpoint from directly overhead Olmi's ship as it approaches the cubes that form the segments and navigation of the city. This presented tremendous technical challenges with the perspective in the curvature of the walls, but I feel that I have come close to success.
For me an important element to capture was the impression that Patricia had of being underwater, I hope this can be seen. I chose not to attempt the city itself as already many competitors were doing such excellent work.

The lessons I have learned have been invaluable and will no doubt change my life and my approach in all future work, and for that I thank CGS and the extraordinary people that make up its community, to Greg I extend a very warm hand shake for allowing each and every one of us this opportunity to participate... now, onto the rest of the books in the story!
