Title: evil landscape post effects
Notes: Post work on my image involved compositing in the sky, lots of editing of hue, level and saturation curves; incorporating a few lighting adjustment passes, and compositing in some fog/smoke passes.

Title: evil landscape rendering
Notes: rendering at 3K with GI and glossy reflections/refractions takes quite some time. The glossy/blurry reflections are an effect which looks pretty cool, but is hardly noticable in my image, and is particularly slow to render.

Title: evil landscape lighting
Notes: I approached the lighting with global illumination, rendered with VRay. The scene is lit with a few area lights, and a skylight. I put some simple objects in front of the lights to try and get slightly broken up, mottled light, a bit like light shining through trees in a forest.

Notes: Texturing. Pretty strait forward organic grungy stuff. On most parts of the model I mixed in a darker, dirtier texture in the crevices.
