Tried changing the grass just too many visual problems the ground is actually already flat it just lighting tricks. I ended up playing with a few more glows then just rendering with and doing the photoshop work. Added slight glows and adjusted the colors
Takes a little while to render to say the least but it works. Since the lighting tests I have changed the city and adjusted the texturemaps for a little unity. The total scene in about 40,000 polys most of it instance and the rest is texture maps ext displacements.
This is the entire scene during lighting placement tests. All gemometry is instanced some basic addition to the scene some tube and and sky drop, with particles system for floaties in the air.
